Aesthetics & MediSpa

Will I need a consultation first?
Yes, every aesthetic treatment begins with a complimentary consultation, either in advance or at the start of your appointment.
How long do results last?

It depends on the treatment. Toxin: 3–4 months. HIFU: over a year. Filler: 6–18 months. PDO threads: dissolve over 6–8 months, results last longer. We'll give you a specific estimate during your consultation.

Will it hurt?
Most treatments involve minimal discomfort. We use topical numbing where appropriate and pause whenever you need.
What's the downtime?

Varies by treatment. Most injectables: minor redness or swelling for 24–48 hours. Microneedling: 2–3 days of pinkness. HIFU and CACI: usually none. PDO threads: potential bruising for up to a week.

Can I have treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Most aesthetic treatments are not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for caution. We'll happily plan future visits and offer alternatives like our facials and Head Spa (after the first trimester).
What about the HydroFacial, what's the upgrade for?
The HydroFacial alone is a multi-stage cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate treatment. The LED upgrade adds light therapy. The microneedling upgrade adds collagen induction for the most pronounced result.

Hair, beauty & massage

Do I need a patch test before colour?

Yes, colour, lash tint and brow tint services require a patch test 48 hours in advance for new clients, and a refresh every six months thereafter. See our patch testing policy.

How do I book a colour consultation?
For balayage, full transformations or major colour change, we recommend booking a free consultation first so we can quote properly and plan timings.
How long do hair extensions last?
Tape-in extensions need maintenance every 6–8 weeks. Bonded systems can last 3–4 months between adjustments. Both can be re-fitted with the same hair multiple times if cared for properly.
What's the difference between LVL and lash extensions?

LVL: a lift and tint of your natural lashes, no extensions, no maintenance. Lash extensions: individual fibres applied to each natural lash. Need infill every 2–3 weeks.

How long does a gel manicure last?
Up to three weeks with normal wear. We finish every gel manicure with a hand massage and full prep, long wear comes from the prep, not the polish.

Japanese Head Spa

How long is the Head Spa ritual?
90 minutes for the full ritual. Allow a little extra time either side for arrival and a slow return.
Should I wash my hair beforehand?
No, please come with hair as it is. The deep cleanse is part of the ritual.
Is the Head Spa suitable for all hair types?
It's most suited to straight to wavy, fine to medium hair textures. For coily or kinky hair, please get in touch first, we may recommend a modified protocol.
Can I have it during pregnancy?
From the second trimester onwards, yes. We adjust positioning and pressure points accordingly.
What if I've had recent colour or chemical treatment?
We recommend waiting at least three weeks after colour or chemical treatments before having the Head Spa.

How quickly do I get my certificate?

Do I need any prior qualifications?
It depends on the course. Foundation has the lightest entry requirements; Advanced courses require relevant prior training.
Are models provided?

Is there a payment plan?
Yes, payment plans are available for most courses. A coordinator will go through the options when you submit an enrolment request.

Compliance

Patch testing, our policy.

Why we test

Skin sensitivities and allergies can develop at any point, even to products you've used safely for years. A patch test gives both you and us peace of mind.

When we test

  • Before any colour service for new clients
  • Before any lash tint or brow tint for new clients
  • Every six months for returning clients
  • If anything in your medical history has changed since your last visit
  • If you've used at-home colour products since your last appointment

How it works

It takes around five minutes. We apply a small amount of the product behind your ear or on your inner arm, and you wait 48 hours to confirm there's no reaction.

If you forget

We'll always reach out before your appointment if a patch test is due. If we can't fit one in within 48 hours of your booked time, we'll need to reschedule, for safety, we never proceed without one.

Before you book

What happens on your first visit.

Nothing here is a surprise. Four steps, start to finish, so you know exactly what to expect when you walk in for the first time.

i.

Arrival & welcome

Arrive five minutes before your slot. You'll be shown through to the studio, offered a drink, and given a moment to settle before anything begins.

ii.

Consultation

Every new client starts with a proper consultation, in a private room, no pressure. We'll talk through what you're hoping for, your medical history if relevant, and whether the treatment you booked is the right fit.

iii.

Treatment

The treatment itself, in a room set aside for it. Timings are honest, we don't run over into your day, and we don't cut things short either.

iv.

Aftercare

Before you leave, you'll get aftercare notes written for the treatment you had. In the days that follow, you can message us any time with questions, we'll always come back to you.

Any questions before you book, message us on WhatsApp, or send us an email. We'd rather answer a small question now than have you wonder later.
