Foot Spa ritual
The Seven Stages

What the full ritual looks like.

Adapted from a centuries-old Japanese tradition, the Foot Spa is a seven-stage protocol delivered in a private, dimly-lit room. Every stage flows into the next, no clock-watching, no interruption, no rush.

  • i.

    Foot analysis

A quiet assessment of your feet, skin condition, pressure points, circulation, sensitivity. What we notice shapes the rest of the ritual.

  • ii.

    Warm mineral soak

Feet immersed in a warm, mineral-infused bath. Softens the skin, eases tension in the arch and heel, opens circulation through the lower legs.

  • iii.

    Ritual exfoliation

Gentle removal of hardened skin and calluses across soles, heels and ankles. Restores softness without stripping.

  • iv.

    Reflexology-informed massage

Slow, structured pressure work across the feet, ankles and calves, drawing on Japanese reflexology principles. The most-loved stage.

  • v.

    The water-fall rinse

The signature stage. A continuous cascade of warm water over the feet, several minutes of stillness most clients describe as transformative.

  • vi.

    Nourishing treatment

A targeted mask or serum selected from your foot analysis, hydrating, cooling, or restorative, depending on what your feet need.

  • vii.

    Finishing balm and lift

A rich balm massaged in to seal the ritual, then a slow, deliberate return to the room. Most clients leave lighter, grounded, and quietly restored.

Why Your Feet Matter

The case for looking after the root.

Feet carry every step of every day. Treating them as part of your overall care has effects that reach far beyond the obvious.

α

Circulation

Focused pressure and warm water improve blood flow through the feet and lower legs, easing swelling, cold feet and heaviness.

β

Reflex points

Japanese reflexology maps pressure points on the foot to systems across the whole body. Working them can ease tension held elsewhere.

γ

Release

Feet hold chronic tension we rarely notice. Releasing it has measurable effects on posture, sleep and general fatigue.

δ

Skin health

Regular exfoliation, hydration and massage prevents callus build-up and cracked heels, keeping the skin resilient and supple.

Suitability check

Is the ritual right for you?

A quick, three-question check. We'll tell you straight away if it's suitable, or recommend a different starting point.

How to prepare.

  • Bare feet under easy-off shoes, no need for a fresh pedicure.
  • Eat lightly beforehand, hydrate well.
  • Wear comfortable, loose layers, there's a robe if you'd prefer.
  • Phone on silent or off, this is a screen-free room.
  • Allow 15 minutes either side for arrival and a slow return.

What to avoid.

  • Caffeine for 2 hours beforehand if you can.
  • Heavy meals, the massage works best on a settled stomach.
  • Driving immediately after, most clients feel deeply relaxed.
  • Strenuous exercise the same day, let the work integrate.
  • Tight ponytails or styling for 24 hours after the ritual.
